However, not all students attend their designated school. Edmonton Public School Division policy supports school choice. Students may choose to attend any Division school, as long as the school has space and they meet any entrance requirements of the school in question. Many students, particularly in junior high (grades 7-9) and senior high (grades 10-12), attend a school other than the designated school in whose attendance area their place of residence is located.
