Description: Polygons representing the extents and attributes of land parcels planned for new Edmonton Public School Division schools. Information regarding planned school sites is maintained by the Land and Capital Planning Team, Infrastructure Planning, Edmonton Public School Division. These sites have received funding from the Alberta Government.Polygons for sites are either copied from titled lot data (provided by Altalis) or digitized from scanned and georeferenced maps included in relevant Area or Neighbourhood Structure Plans approved by the City of Edmonton.Attributes include the site name, site status (Planned/In Assembly, Assembled/Not Ready, Vacant/School Ready, Under Construction, or Declared Surplus), polygon source, street address, legal description for the site parcel(s), planned school type and grade configuration, Area and/or Neighbourhood Structure Plan in effect for the area in which the site lies, zoning, the City of Edmonton and Edmonton Public School Division neighbourhood (ID and name) in which the site lies, the site area in hectares, and (where the polygon was copied from titled lot data), the titled lot polygon ID and LINC number as defined by Alberta Lands Titles.For site polygons digitized from Area or Neighbourhood Structure Plan maps, the legal description recorded is for the current land parcel(s) at the site location.
