Description: Polygons representing the extents and attributes of neighbourhoods (administrative areas) defined and used by the City of Edmonton, with values for selected variables from the 2021 Statistics Canada Federal Census apportioned from Census dissemination areas to City of Edmonton neighbourhoods. Attributes supplied by the City of Edmonton include the neighbourhood name, ID number, and a description of the neighbourhood. Note that the neighbourhoods defined by Edmonton Public School Division are not identical to those defined and used by the City of Edmonton. Neighbourhood boundaries supplied by the City of Edmonton to Edmonton Public School Division on a quarterly basis. Data current as of March 2024.Census variables include values for total population, lone parent families, median income, immigration status, visible minority status, low income measures, and labour force status.
